Yungaburra Heritage & Rainforest Tour (1 day)

​

 This tour has been designed for those who wish to leave from Cairns and explore our amazing Atherton Tableland and then return at 5.30pm. We start the day by arriving at you accommodation in the Cairns CBD at 8am and then proceed south to Gordonvale. Here we turn right to proceed up the Gillies Range Road. Approaching the range we are travelling through rich, dense rainforest on the bank of the Mulgrave River. Progressing up the escarpment we will notice a change to open forest or Eucalypt forest. Very different and this continues for some distance. Around Heales Lookout the vegetation changes, once more to dense rainforest. Rainforest at this elevation is the richest in the variety of flora and fauna.

Lake Barrine Morning Tea Cruise

This special tour has been designed for clubs or groups with a minimum size of 10 adults. This size group enables us to include a morning tea cruise on Lake Barrine at no extra cost (normally an extra $35.00pp).The Atherton Tableland is rich in places to explore- our pristine rainforest, waterfalls and unique natural attractions.
