In addition, our area is rich in heritage. For thousands of years the Aboriginal People have been caretakers managing and looking after country and they still contribute. We at Yungaburra Tours acknowledge and respect these caretakers for preserving the land where today we live, work and play.

Yungaburra, previously known as Allumbah Pocket, is a heritage village. It played an important part in World War 2 when 100,000+ troops were camped on the Atherton Tableland. Pay a visit to Rocky Creek Memorial and the Afghanistan Avenue of Honour.
